Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Facility UC Davis' Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) facility is the largest academic GMP facility in northern California, featuring six manufacturing rooms with Class 10,000, multi-use cleanroom capabilities. Viral Vector Core The Vector Core supports the development and production of viral vectors necessary for gene therapy transfer in research experiments and pre-clinical studies. Regulatory Core Regulatory staff experienced with the nuanced FDA approval pathway for biotherapeutics are available to assist with the development and implementation of pre-meeting packages and IND applications. Quality Control Testing Laboratory Quality Control and Quality Assurance form the foundation of UC Davis’ Gene Therapy Center and the Institute for Regenerative Cures. The center’s team members are experienced and skilled in every aspect of the QC/QA process. Alpha Clinics The CIRM-funded Alpha Stem Cell Clinics are a network of top California medical centers. The Network specializes in delivering biotherapeutics to patients participating in and stem cell and gene therapy clinical trials.
