California National Primate Research Center
The California National Primate Research Center (CNPRC) is improving health and advancing science with interdisciplinary programs in biomedical research on significant human medical conditions throughout the lifespan. Research at the CNPRC is leading to new diagnostics, therapeutics, and clinical procedures that enhance quality of life for both humans and animals.
Stem Cell Program
The UC Davis Stem Cell Program brings together physicians, research scientists, biomedical engineers and a range of other experts and collaborative partners to develop and manufacture stem cell therapies.
Center for Healthcare Policy and Research
The Center for Healthcare Policy and Research facilitates research, promotes education, and informs policy about health and healthcare through interdisciplinary and collaborative research and training. Faculty members represent a broad spectrum of disciplines from UC Davis and other public and private organizations.
Clinical and Translational Science Center
The CTSC provides centralized resources dedicated to facilitating clinical and translational biomedical research through innovation, collaboration, and expertise. The center’s programs include biostatistics, clinical trials, biomedical informatics, education and career development.
Comprehensive Cancer Center
UC Davis’ Cancer Center is designated as a Comprehensive Cancer Center by the National Cancer Institute, the nation’s top cancer organization. Only 50 other cancer centers have successfully earned this designation, a mark of the highest standards and achievements in cancer research, outreach and education, all of which are reflected in our excellence in patient care.
Hemophilia Program
The UC Davis Hemostasis and Thrombosis Center (HTC) was founded in 1972 and is one of the first federally-funded HTCs in the United States. Comprehensive services are provided by a specially trained core team experienced in treating bleeding and clotting disorders, including pediatric and adult hematologists, nurse coordinators, social workers and a physical therapist.
UC Davis Veterinary Institute for Regenerative Cures
The UC Davis Veterinary Institute for Regenerative Cures emerged from our world renowned School of Veterinary Medicine to leverage collaborative, interdisciplinary “disease teams” that include basic research faculty and clinical faculty that focus on “bench to bedside” translation of stem cell therapies.

California Institute for Regenerative Medicine
The California Institute for Regenerative Medicine (CIRM) is a state agency that funds stem cell research at institutions and companies throughout California with the goal of accelerating treatments to patients with unmet medical needs. CIRM was established by the voters of California in 2004 by passing Proposition 71 which authorized $3 billion in funding.
